So do you edit your resume slightly for each job you apply to, rather than having a regular resume you use?
Junhson M Jean-Baptiste
01:01:16
It’s a really good idea to tailor each resume per company, if you’re able to.
Junhson M Jean-Baptiste
01:02:07
Or maybe per type of company, it really depends on how far you want to go. For example, it’s great to highlight different skills/experiences for a kernel developer position vs a front-end dev
Ron Laniado
01:02:24
having different versions may also help
Ron Laniado
01:02:37
instead of having to edit it each time

01:08:07
I assume the bullet indentation between 'Girls Who Code' and 'Computer Vision are just google docs doing google doc things

AJ Stensland
01:11:06
Big agree on the experience level comment
Callisto A Hess
01:11:57
What if we have professional work experience that is unrelated to CS? Should that still come above project experience?
Jared Eipp
01:12:45
Usually the term professional on a resume refers to experience related to your field of study

Sophie Saremsky
01:15:13
If you guys get to a point where you have more (relevant) info than what can fit on a page, keep a "master resume" or something like that with ALL of your experience and then delete stuff to make it a page depending on what job you're applying for
Sophie Saremsky
01:15:33
That way you never have to rewrite the bullets and can still tailor your experience to the job

Potential for growth is huge. It's the biggest reason you should still apply places as an underclassmen, they can see your growth every time you reapply
